Groove Music

Groove Music is a music service that allows users to create music collections and playlists. It is available on Windows, iOS, and Android devices.

• Creating music collections and playlists
• Accessing collections and playlists through the cloud across all supported devices
• Adding songs from the Groove Music Store
• Matching songs stored locally on a user's computer
• Matching songs uploaded to the user’s OneDrive account
• Editing metadata for locally stored songs and albums on a PC

Groove Music was part of the rebranding of Microsoft’s Xbox Music in 2015, but Microsoft officially shut down the service in early 2018.

Additionally, "groove" can also refer to the feel or effect of a rhythmic pattern in music, often associated with a "swing" or propulsive rhythm.
